Two whole new CDs' worth of original songs are recorded, and await finishing . . . and a new civic song for Syracuse (quirkily titled "Syracuse") is soon to hit the airwaves, with a CNY all-star cast.

The first new CD, probably to be titled Cupid's Got a Mean Streak, was recorded in New York City in February 2001, right before the birth of Maria's daughter, Olivia. It features the same band as on Nothing Is Forever:

  • Michael Kanan on piano,
  • Neal Miner on bass, and
  • Tim Pleasant on drums.

There are lots of French songs on this one, with lyrics contributed by Pierre Frison. It contains these song titles:

  1. En Pyjama
  2. C'est La Pluie
  3. Birthday Samba
  4. Ecoutez
  5. Grab a Little Bit of Golden Sunshine
  6. I Like My Music Soft
  7. Hello Olivia
  8. So Long
  9. Take a Little Time to Say Goodbye
  10. When...
  11. Cupid's Got a Mean Streak
  12. Valentine
  13. It's Raining
  14. The Oldest Game

The second new CD was recorded in February 2002, with kind of an annual reunion of the NYC band happening. Same great guys (whose
careers have taken off by now), a whole bunch of new songs. Several of these have music and lyrics by Phil Klein. . . . a new Mommy only has so much time!

These are the song titles of what might be called This One's for O. (That's O. in the picture, by the way, at 10 weeks old.)

  1. That's What Life Is All About
  2. Forever is Too Long (To Be Without You)
  3. O-O-Olivia
  4. I'm Lost
  5. Love Is All We Need
  6. You'll Always Be Here in My Heart
  7. Where Am I Going?
  8. Got A Friend

  9. And Now, Our Story Ends . . .
  10. Daydreams
  11. Baby's First Christmas
  12. Never Mind
  13. Have a Good Day
